Entrepreneurs encouraged to borrow in Santa Pola

ENTREPRENEURS IN Santa Pola are to have access to microcredit (money loaned at low interest) of a maximum of 25,000€ from MicroBank (owned by La Caixa) under the terms of an agreement with the council to encourage the growth of business within the town. Autonomous and entrepreneurial individuals are encouraged to apply to the Local Development Agency (ADL) of Santa Pola for microcredit against presentation of a suitable business plan.

The council signed the first cooperation agreement with the bank this week, attended by the mayor, Miguel Zaragoza; Councillor for Employment Jorge Perelló; Local Development Agency Manager Jose Mazon and Santa Pola technical Emprende Córcoles Llanos. MicroBank Commercial Director Ramon Gatell, and the Area Director of Elche Business, Angel Carrasco were also present.
